Nels P. Peterson
Dies of Cancer....
Nels P. Peterson for many years a well known character about town, where he made out a living by peddling fish in the Winter and Ice Cream in the summer, died Wednesday at his home. He had suffered several years from cancer. He was born in Denmark November 28, 1855. He immigrated to America in 1882 and came to Spanish Fork eight years later. He had married three times. His first wife died and he was estranged from his other wives. He is survived by three sons and one daughter. Mrs. Jessie Peterson. Frank and William Petersen, His youngest son Carl Peterson was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Al Driggs of Springville. It is not known if he had any other relatives in this country. The body is at the Wheeler Mortuary, where friends may call Friday morning prior to the services which will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Fourth ward chapel. After which the remains will be taken to Lehi and buried besides his first wife
